City Cycling: Traffic Skills 101 Small Group Class**

This offering is for groups, companies, and organizations who want City Bike Coach to produce a City Cycling:Traffic Skills 101 class at their facility.

This nine-hour class (depending on the number of students) has two main components: classroom and riding.

In Part I Classroom, students will learn the following: A). Proper adjustment of helmets and bicycles; B). Municipal traffic laws in relation to cycling; C). Rights of bicyclists and responsibilities while on the road; D). Inspection techniques to ensure a properly maintained bicycle; E). The second most important gear ALL riders -- especially children -- should have but don't own.

In Part II Riding, students will learn how to do the following: A). Fix a flat tire; B). Shift gears smoothly and properly C). Securely lock up bicycles; D). Maneuver a bicycle through the four most common emergency situations on the road; E). Riding in traffic and in a small group during a 5+-mile ride implementing safety and confidence gained through Part I Classroom.

**$1200.00 is the base price, and may be more depending on the contract. Course fee includes both sessions and materials. A non-refundable booking fee of $125 is included in the course fee.

Notes: 1). All students must know how to ride a bicycle. 2). Some classes are offered in two parts on different days. 3). There are riding gear requirements for all sessions. Nothing major, just precautions for your safety! Upon registration, students will receive notice of these items.
